We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Torrent. This role will be based in Kalispell, or can be performed Remotely Nationwide.

This position provides administrative and operational support to the litigation function by coordinating the handling of litigated claims, subpoenas, official complaints, subrogation requests, and audit-related activities. The Litigation Coordinator supports the Litigation Manager in ensuring cases are appropriately onboarded, documented, tracked, and processed in a timely and accurate manner. The role serves as a point of coordination among internal teams, clients, attorneys, FEMA/NFIP, and other external stakeholders to support effective communication, compliance, and workflow management throughout the litigation process

We will count on you to:

  • Coordinate onboarding of new litigation matters, including confirming assignment, notifying stakeholders, distributing claim documentation to defense counsel, and identifying applicable policies and coverages.

  • Maintain accurate litigation files, case tracking systems, and related documentation, ensuring records are complete, organized, and accessible.

  • Process monthly litigation invoices, including onboarding, review, filing, FEMA submission, status tracking, and coordination of payment issuance.

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures, templates, and correspondence for litigation and claims coordination.

  • Serve as a liaison among legal teams, finance, external agencies, clients, underwriters, and other parties to support efficient communication and compliance.

  • Support audit preparation by organizing, compiling, and submitting requested documentation and reports within required timelines.

  • Review claims reports, documentation, and system information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established service standards.

  • Monitor deadlines and incoming communications, prioritize workload, follow up on missing documentation, and conduct research to support claims analysis and resolution.

What you need to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive information

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to independently identify, manage, and prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

The applicable base salary range for this role is $48,000 to $102,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
