Position Summary:
The CBHI Referral and Triage Coordinator at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) is responsible for coordinating and managing the referral and intake process for our CBHI program, maintaining waitlists and client assignments, determining service eligibility and medical necessity, and ensuring the timely and accurate documentation of client information. This role includes regular communication with clients and families, including outreach and follow-up while clients await assignment to services as well as active participation in supervision, team meetings and quality improvement efforts while contributing to a collaborative, client-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality behavioral health services. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, team-oriented environment while maintaining client dignity, autonomy, and confidentiality.

Required:
Master’s Degree in the field of mental health (MA, M.Ed., or MSW)
1-2 years’ experience working with children and families
Preferred:
Insurance verification a plus
Bilingual candidates encouraged
