AI Summary

Members will provide feedback on university initiatives, programs, and policies to represent the candidate voice. Responsibilities include attending meetings, participating in working groups, and collaborating with the Executive Cabinet.

Ready to help shape Reach University's future? The Office of Continuous Improvement, in the Office of the Provost, is inviting current candidates to join the first cohort of our newly established Candidate Advisory Board (CAB).

As a CAB member, you'll join a community of peers to share your feedback on Reach's initiatives, programs, and policies. Your voice will help represent graduate and undergraduate candidates across the university, and you'll have a direct line to our Executive Cabinet and leadership team.

We're looking to welcome around 10-15 volunteer members for this first cohort, though the exact number will depend on who applies. To join, you just need to be a current Reach University candidate. Eligibility
  • Be enrolled in one of Reach University’s undergraduate or graduate programs during the current academic year
  • Be in good academic standing
Role and Responsibilities
  • Attend hour-long CAB meetings and engage fully in conversations
  • Participate in working groups as needed
  • Represent candidate voice with honesty and integrity
  • Embody Reach University core values
Term
  • A term is one academic year (fall and spring semesters).
  • Members may serve multiple terms but must reapply each year and be reselected.
Meeting Structure
  • The CAB will convene at least one time each semester during the fall and spring terms.
  • The date and time of the meeting will be determined after members are chosen based on the staff and member availability.
Member Benefits
  • Shape the program: contribute ideas and insights that influence Reach University’s new and current programs
  • Build community: connect with candidates outside of your college and cohort
  • Enhance leadership skills: gain hands on experience with collaboration, facilitation, and elevating candidate voice for decision-making processes
  • Gain behind-the-scenes exposure: see how Reach staff and operations work beyond weekly seminars
Application Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
