Why This Role Matters

Reporting to the Ad Operations Manager, the Campaigns Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day administration and execution of Skift’s advertising and sponsorship campaigns.

By working closely with Sales and Creative teams, this role ensures campaigns are set up accurately, launched on time, and tracked with care. Your attention to detail and organized approach directly supports campaign delivery and advertiser satisfaction.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in digital campaign administration and ad operations support.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with ad platforms and internal systems, communicates clearly across teams, and takes pride in keeping campaigns running smoothly from setup through completion.

Some of What You’ll Do

Campaign Setup & Administration

  • Support the end-to-end setup and trafficking of direct-sold digital campaigns in Google Ad Manager
  • Enter and maintain line items, targeting parameters, creative uploads, and placements accurately
  • Conduct pre-launch quality checks to ensure campaigns are configured correctly before going live

Campaign Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track daily pacing and flag delivery issues or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
  • Pull and organize campaign performance data to support regular reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign status, delivery, and changes throughout the flight

Technical & Operational Support

  • Assist with implementation and QA of third-party tags, pixels, and UTM parameters
  • Follow and uphold naming conventions and reporting hygiene across all campaigns
  • Support newsletter sponsorship deployment (HubSpot preferred) and podcast ad operations
  • Help coordinate retargeting campaign setup under the guidance of senior team members

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Communicate with Sales and Creative teams to gather campaign assets and resolve setup questions
  • Support delivery data verification for billing and invoicing purposes
  • Escalate technical issues or platform discrepancies to the appropriate internal contacts

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in ad operations, campaign coordination, or digital media administration
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager (required)
  • Familiarity with digital advertising concepts such as targeting, pacing, impressions, and creative specs
  • Experience with third-party tag implementation and tracking pixels is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can follow processes and flag issues proactively
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously in a remote work environment

  • Campaigns launched on schedule with all assets and tracking in place
  • Consistent and organized campaign records and reporting hygiene
