Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Intelligence Developer. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing and developing data models, building dashboards, managing data warehousing solutions, and executing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Daily tasks include creating insightful analytics, maintaining data systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Modelling to structure efficient and scalable data solutions
- Experience with building and maintaining Dashboards for data visualisation and reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting complex data and delivering actionable insights
- Knowledge in Data Warehousing techniques for managing large-scale data storage
- Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to prepare and integrate data
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and relational databases (e.g., SQL)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role
- Strong expertise in at least one BI tool: Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or Qlik
- Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, ADF, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
- Experience with DAX and M Query (for Power BI developers)
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
