About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Executive to close large deals, add new logos, and own the partnerships that define Vega's next chapter.

This is a hunter role at its core — someone who can open doors at the enterprise level and drive deals until they are won. You'll also be a builder as you design the GTM playbook, own strategic relationships from first call to multi-year partnership, and eventually scale the team.


What You'll Do

  • Hunt and Close New Logos: Own the full sales cycle — from first conversation to signed agreement. You'll be expected to land accounts and turn them into long-term partnerships.

  • Build the GTM Playbook: Develop the frameworks, positioning, and CRM workflows that drive repeatable growth and will scale with the team’s growth.

  • Evangelize Vega's Value: Translate Vega's capabilities into business cases that resonate with buyers — making the ROI undeniable.

  • Own the Market Feedback Loop: Be the voice of prospects, customers and partners back to Product, Engineering, and Ops. Your conversations in the field should shape our roadmap.

  • Represent Vega: Show up at industry conferences, executive seminars, and key associations as a credible, senior face of the company.

  • Build Behind You: Develop the playbooks and mentorship structures that turn your individual success into a repeatable growth engine as the team grows.


About You

  • 10+ years in a business development capacity, ideally with deep knowledge of insurance and claims.

  • You close. A track record of landing large, complex deals — not just managing existing relationships but winning new ones.

  • You build, not just execute. You've created GTM strategies or sales playbooks — not just followed them.

  • Executive presence. Comfortable in a C-suite setting and able to move a deal forward at the senior level.

  • Startup grit. You thrive in ambiguity, own your outcomes, and are energized by building something from the ground up.

  • Technical curiosity. You understand how technology is changing the claims space and can speak to data-driven outcomes with confidence.
