- Lead Technical Demos & Engineering Pitching: Serve as a technical sales advocate by confidently running product demonstrations, interpreting oceanographic data products, and presenting custom value/ROI frameworks to customers.
- Account Transition & Growth: Onboard and manage ~6 key existing regional accounts over a structured 3–6 month handover period while maintaining a strong focus on net-new "hunting".
- Territory & Industry Presence: Represent MarineLabs at key industry trade shows, conferences, and on-site customer visits (requiring 25%–50% domestic and international travel).

- Strong Technical & Sales Engineering Aptitude: Comfortable working with customer data, constructing ROI arguments, and running technical product demonstrations during the sales process.
- Proactive "Hunter" Mindset: Exceptional self-drive, curiosity, and high initiative to open doors and build pipeline from scratch in target territories.
- Location & Mobility: Based in Eastern Canada (or working Eastern Time Zone alignment) with the ability to travel 25%–50% across target regions, as well as occasional visits to the U.S., Europe, or HQ in Victoria, BC.
