WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Business Applications Architect will serve as a key technical leader responsible for designing, expanding, and governing scalable enterprise application solutions across a growing global organization. This role will own the technical architecture and data strategy for our primary enterprise platforms, specifically Salesforce and native ecosystem solutions like Certinia (PSA and Financial Management Cloud), while bridging business needs with high-performing technical design.

We’re looking for an experienced architect who brings deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, financial and operational system design, and platform governance. You will partner closely with internal leaders across Operations, Finance, Services Delivery, as well as external implementation partners, to drive major business transformations. The ideal candidate blends strategic architectural vision with hands-on technical problem-solving and a proactive approach to system integrity.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

●       5–8+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and architecting solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

●       Experience architecting native Salesforce applications, ideally including Certinia (PSA/ERP) or comparable native solutions.

●       Track record of designing data models, delivering large-scale platform implementations, and supporting system integrations via integration frameworks and middleware.

●       Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security/sharing rules, Apex, LWCs, and declarative automation.

●       Hands-on experience with native AppExchange applications and integrations (e.g., DocuSign CLM, SurveyVista, middleware).

●       Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and architecture artifacts.

●       Experience guiding external implementation partners and technical teams to enforce architectural standards.

●       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs to non-technical partners.

●       Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant Certinia certifications preferred.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

●       Own the overarching technical design, data architecture, and scalability of the Salesforce and Certinia environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and initiatives.

●       Lead technical architecture and implementation efforts for new Certinia modules (e.g., Services Estimator, Financial Management Cloud) and other Salesforce platform expansions.

●       Design, implement, and maintain custom Salesforce data models, complex automation Flows, and bi-directional integration frameworks (e.g., asynchronous APIs, webhooks, etc.) to seamlessly connect Salesforce with enterprise systems.

●       Collaborate with business stakeholders across multiple departments to translate requirements into technical blueprints, data models, and solution designs.

●       Provide technical governance, design reviews, and oversight for external partners and internal teams.

●       Enforce architectural standards, security controls, release management procedures, and data governance best practices.

●       Serve as the technical escalation point for complex platform issues, performance optimization, and system refactoring.

●       Partner with the Director of Business Applications to shape the technical roadmap, evaluate new technologies, and drive the technical design and delivery of large-scale enterprise projects.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $90,000 and $105,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
