Outsourced CFO is recruiting for a detail-oriented and motivated
Bookkeeper to support the accurate management of financial records and day-to-day bookkeeping functions.
This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, smooth processing of transactions, and reliable reporting, while working closely with a dynamic team and supporting clients operating in the USA market.
Key Responsibilities: Cashbook & Reconciliations
- Record, process, and reconcile cashbooks, debtors, creditors, assets, and inventory
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including loan accounts and prepayments
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation under supervision
Banks & Credit Cards;
- Receive and allocate payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Record deposits accurately
- Code all credit card transactions to the correct Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements at month end
Vendors & Job Costing
- Capture all vendor invoices and bills accurately
- Perform month-end job costing for installed jobs
Customers & Accounts Receivable
- Set up and maintain customer records
- Prepare customer estimates, record change orders, and generate invoices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable for installed customers
General Bookkeeping & Reporting
- Ensure transactions are correctly recorded in supplier, customer, and general ledgers
- Post accountant-provided journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month end
- Prepare supporting schedules and month-end documentation
- Deliver accurate month-end profit and loss statements with commentary on key profit KPIs
- Assist with additional bookkeeping tasks as required
Relationships & Communication
- Engage with clients to build strong, professional relationships
- Collaborate with POD team members to ensure accurate transaction recording and clarify uncertainties
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is ideal, we will also provide required training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
