CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking an experienced and hands-on Billing Manager to lead all billing operations and oversee the AR team. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong operational expertise and a passion for building scalable, efficient billing processes within a tech‑enabled services environment.

The Billing Manager is responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all billing activities across the organization. This leader will continually evaluate and enhance billing workflows to improve visibility, efficiency, internal controls, and cross‑functional collaboration, particularly with the Client Success team. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑growing and evolving organization.

Primary Responsibilities
Billing Operations & Close Process
  • Take Ownership of All Billing and Month‑End Closing Processes, Ensuring Accurate, Timely, and Compliant Billing Execution
  • Oversee Invoice Preparation, Review, Approval, Credit Memos, Adjustments, and Billing Schedule Maintenance
  • Manage AR and Payment Collection Processes to Accelerate Cash Flow, Prevent Aging, and Maintain Clean AR Ledgers
  • Serve as an Escalation Point for Complex Billing or Customer Account Issues
  • Partner with Implementation, Growth, and Client Success to Ensure Resolution of Disputes and Alignment on Client Expectations
  • Drive Standardization, Process Consistency, and Innovation in Billing to Support Scalability and Company Growth
  • Lead the Integration and Ongoing Management of Billing Platforms for Recently Acquired Companies

Leadership & Team Management
  • Manage and Develop Teammates within the Billing Department, Including Hiring, Onboarding, Goal‑Setting, Coaching, and Performance Reviews
  • Maintain a Strong Working Knowledge of Operational Processes Across All Business Lanes and the Technology Platforms that Support Them
  • Identify Opportunities to Automate, Streamline, or Standardize Billing and AR Processes
  • Foster a Culture of Accuracy, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement

Controls, Compliance & Reconciliation
  • Monitor the Internal Control Environment by Enforcing Billing and AR Policies, Approval Workflows, Documentation Standards, and Audit Readiness
  • Take Accountability for AR‑Related Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and Ensure Timely Resolution of Any Discrepancies
  • Support Internal and External Audit Requests Through Accurate and Timely Information Sharing

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
  • 7+ Years of Relevant Professional Experience or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
  • Experience with ERP Systems (NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks a Plus)

  • History of Working with Billing and/or ERP Software

  • Working Knowledge of the General Ledger and Experience Reconciling AR Accounts
  • Passionate Pursuit of Automation and Efficiencies within a High-Volume Environment
  • Effective Interpersonal Skills with the Ability to Work Cross-Functionally
  • Proven Track Record to Thrive in a Multifaceted Environment Under Short Timelines and Changing Priorities
  • Excellent Communication Skills, Written and Verbal
  • Experience in Healthcare
