Job Overview:

Neuemotion is growing our production partnerships in EMEA and we're looking for an Associate Director of Production to own that region reporting to the SVP of Production. You'll be the operational and creative anchor for a high volume of projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — acting as producer, project manager, and creative quality gate in one as we look to expand over time.

We’ve proven out the EMEA work with our US-based team, now we’re investing in the region to execute locally and build at scale. We need someone embedded in the region — available in the right time zones, connected to local creative resources, and fluent in the cultural nuances that make work land. You will be the person who makes that possible.

You are not here to grow new business. You are here to run the EMEA production operation with precision, speed, and creative integrity. This is an opportunity to build and own something from the ground up in your region.

Think of this role as a hybrid of three functions: the client-facing coordination of an account manager, the operational rigor of a project manager, and the quality standard of a creative director. You will touch all three, every day.

What You’ll Do:

Production Ownership

• Own projects end-to-end from brief intake through final delivery across EMEA
• Translate briefs into clear production plans, timelines, and resourcing,  and identify risks before they surface
• Serve as the primary bridge between Neuemotion's US-based team and EMEA-side execution
• Copywriting is a crucial component of this workstream, and this role requires oversight on copy that is paired with the production of visual content (videos, imagery). It does not require you to be a copywriter.

Project & Timeline Management

• Build and manage workback schedules across overlapping projects and keep all stakeholders aligned
• Run internal checkpoints, flag blockers early, and maintain fidelity across multiple fast-moving productions simultaneously
• Organize asset intake, version control, and delivery with consistent structure across all projects

Creative Direction & Quality Control

• Proof all creative output before it leaves Neuemotion.  You are the final quality gate for EMEA work
• Catch issues with brand consistency, copy fit, and platform specs, and translate partner and client feedback into clear direction for internal teams
• Know what makes paid social formats perform and hold work to that standard

Regional Resource Network

• Bring an existing bench of EMEA-based freelancers, vendors, and production resources
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate rates, and know who to call to staff a shoot, source a studio, or bring in specialized support

Production Fluency

• Appetite for deeply understanding Neuemotion's production model and the unique value it brings and cater it to the ways of working in the region – how work flows, how it's priced, how it's delivered
• Operate within the partner structure, apply platform standards consistently, and flag scope or timeline issues through the right channels

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work fluidly across Neuemotion's US-based account, production, and creative teams across time zones
• Be the person who always has the status, the answer, or the path to get there

Requirements

Experience

• 7+ years in production, project management, or a hybrid role within advertising, creative, or content production
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced startup or agency environment
• Experience working with or within large media platform or technology ecosystems is a strong plus
• On-set or physical production experience is a plus but not required — this role skews toward the coordination of remote optimization, motion graphics, and post-production work
• Experience working across EMEA markets, either in-house or as a freelancer or vendor

Skills

• Strong project management skills — workback scheduling, budget tracking, risk flagging, stakeholder communication
• A genuine creative eye — you can tell when work is off-brand, off-spec, or just not good enough
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional European or Middle Eastern languages are a plus
• Comfortable operating across time zones with a distributed team
• Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet) and Google Workspace

Travel for this role is approximately 30% — consisting of meetings or on-site production support. As EMEA project volume grows into 2027 and beyond, that expectation may increase. Most day-to-day work is remote.
