General information regarding the job:

  • The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for developing and implementing the tactical sales plan for their assigned products/region.

  • The ASM oversees planning, coordinating, and executing sales activities carried out by the respective team of medical representatives.

  • This role involves training and guiding the sales team to ensure efficiency and compliance.

  • The ASM develops and maintains business partnerships with key customers.

  • This position is responsible for enhancing the capabilities of the medical representatives, communicating the company's mission and vision, supporting the company's values, and implementing HR processes.

This position is eligible for sales incentives.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develops and leads the sales team to achieve sales targets.

  • Creates the sales plan for their assigned products/region.

  • Analyzes market data to ensure sales efficiency.

  • Ensures team members adhere to internal processes and HCC guidelines.

  • Is responsible for developing the capabilities and skills of team members to improve performance.

  • Ensures that sales plans are aligned with the company's strategy and brand strategy.

  • Analyzes market data to establish targets, assess performance, and ensure sales targets are met.

  • Provides guidance for assigned customer-group, for the segmentation and targeting process.

  • Ensures team members receive adequate training to fulfill necessary tasks.

  • Reports sales results to senior management compared to established targets.

  • Suggests adjustments to ensure objectives are met.

  • Ensures expenditures remain within budget.

  • Trains and motivates the sales team.

  • Develops and maintains business partnerships with key customers.

  • Prepares sales forecasts for the area of responsibility.

  • Monitors market developments and competitor activities to ensure the effectiveness of sales plans.

  • Promotes the company's image to customers.

  • Ensures systems and databases are up to date.

  • Works productively with other organizational functions to ensure alignment.

  • Responsible for implementing HR processes within the sales team.

    • Key opinion leaders

    • Medical professionals

Other responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Safe Fleet requirements

  • Reports any Brand Quality Complaint or Adverse Event to the Local Safety Unit (AE / PQC) in due time according to company policies and SOPs

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

lei225,000.00 - lei362,250.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
