Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager, you will serve as a strategic point of contact for stakeholders and oversee sales operations. This position involves promoting and selling the organization’s products across multiple sales channels while leading a team for Vision Care Portfolio for Catalonia and the North of Spain territory. This position is based in Barcelona. A typical day will include:

• Develop and monitor an integrated operational plan which achieves business goals
• Meet or excel sales target
• Manage operating expenses
• Ensure effective management of sales team. Including training and personal development.
• Increase sales/ team productivity
• Be accountable for collaboration with Customer Accounts, Marketing, Product Managers

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Minimum of 3 years in sales or a similar role, preferably within an international company.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.
• Background in healthcare or pharmacy is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Driver’s license is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Strategic and analytical mindset
• Strong sales and goal-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (Catalunya and North of Spain)
