WRS is a medical device company headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI.  We offer world-class multi-modal post-op pain management for orthopedic excellence. We focus on systems that improve patient recovery and practice management. We do all of this while combating the Opioid Epidemic. We are located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, MI, and we are looking for a full-time Area Sales Director.  The area will consist of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. We prefer candidates from those specified states.

The Area Sales Director is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth within the designated Southeastern or Southern markets. In addition, this role is expected to support other sales representatives in expanding the company’s market presence. The position contributes to the overall growth and success of all WRS Group companies.
 
 
What You'll Do 
  •  Own the quota/number for your territory.
  • Recruit/hire 1099 representatives or agencies where needed.
  •  Provide the practical field-training portion of onboarding sales representatives/agencies:
    • Go into the field with representatives
    • Schedule appointments
    • Attend road shows
    • Model sales calls
    • Help cultivate the business locally 
  • Responsible for the first sales calls/initial momentum after a representative is onboarded. 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage aspects of the sales force to ensure performance and goal attainment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to executive leadership.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to guide strategic planning.

What You'll Bring 

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent); college degree preferred 
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • A positive approach to daily tasks and strong work ethic 
  • Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented approach, with excellent follow-up skills, strong time management, a sense of urgency and the ability to shift gears frequently throughout the day 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prefer with experience with durable medical equipment sales
