Are you an emerging design professional ready to turn creative concepts into distinctive aquatic environments? Do you enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop thoughtful, buildable solutions for pools, natatoriums, spas, and water parks?

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Aquatic Designer to join our Sports Team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will support aquatic facility projects from preliminary planning through design and permitting, collaborating with experienced designers, engineers, and project teams to deliver solutions aligned with each client’s goals, budget, site, and schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your technical expertise and help create aquatic spaces that encourage recreation, competition, wellness, and meaningful community connection.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and revise aquatic facility drawings, layouts, and construction documents using AutoCAD, REVIT, and other industry-standard design software
• Collaborate with engineers, senior designers, and multidisciplinary project teams to produce accurate, high-quality aquatic design deliverables
• Review drawings and contract documents for quality, consistency, and alignment with project requirements and established standards
• Assist with plans, specifications, technical documentation, and design details for pools and other aquatic environments while gaining exposure to industry codes and engineering practices
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery
• Support field activities and site visits to better understand project conditions and assist with the development of as-built documentation

What You Bring:

• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or a related technical field required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering document production experience required
• Proficiency with design software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Working knowledge of engineering design standards, drafting practices, and construction documentation processes
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams
• A desire to continue developing technical expertise while contributing to meaningful projects

Salary Range:

$31.25 - $38.46

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
