Appointment Setter (Part-time)

We're looking for a highly organized and confident Appointment Setter to be the first point of contact for prospective homeowners. You'll engage with new leads, qualify their needs, and schedule appointments for our sales team while maintaining accurate records in Zoho CRM/Zoho One.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong phone skills, excellent follow-up habits, and hands-on experience using Zoho CRM or Zoho One in a customer-facing or sales support role.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to new and existing leads.
• Answer inbound calls from homeowners requesting estimates or information.
• Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, SMS, and CRM workflows.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and minimize no-shows.
• Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and lead statuses in Zoho CRM/Zoho One.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding appointment schedules and lead updates.
• Ensure all interactions are documented promptly and accurately.
• Assist with occasional recruiting outreach or scheduling support when needed.

Requirements

Required

• At least 2 years of experience in appointment setting, inside sales, customer service, or a similar phone-based role.
• Hands-on experience using Zoho CRM and/or Zoho One (required).
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable handling objections and keeping conversations on track.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office.

Preferred

• Experience supporting a home services, construction, roofing, HVAC, restoration, or similar business.
• Previous experience in a call center or outbound sales environment.
• Familiarity with SMS follow-up and lead nurturing processes.

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Internet Connection:
• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

• Primary Device:
• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
• Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• Backup Device:
• Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.

• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
• Peripherals and Workspace: A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
