The main purpose of the Amazon Operations Manager is to support the management and day-to-day operations of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts for Hustler Marketing's clients. This includes managing inventory, coordinating shipments, setting up promotions, supporting product launches, uploading content, preparing reports, and resolving operational challenges to help clients improve their performance and grow their businesses on Amazon.
As an Amazon Operations Manager, you will work across multiple client brands and Amazon marketplaces, primarily in the UK, EU, and US, as well as Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Japan. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing sales and inventory data, identifying operational issues and growth opportunities, making recommendations based on your findings, and executing tasks that support each client's goals. You will need to understand how different aspects of Amazon operations affect a brand's performance, from inventory availability and product listings to promotions and new product launches.
A significant part of this role involves problem-solving. Amazon is a constantly evolving platform, and you will regularly encounter situations that require you to investigate unfamiliar issues, evaluate available information, and find practical solutions. You will work closely with the team, receive training on the agency's processes and ways of working, and participate in regular training and feedback sessions to continuously develop your expertise.
The primary mission of our Amazon Operations Manager is to ensure that the operational activities of our clients' Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts are managed accurately and effectively, while supporting their business growth through data-driven decisions, consistent execution, and proactive problem-solving.
As our Amazon Operations Manager, this will include monitoring and managing inventory, identifying replenishment priorities, supporting product launches and promotional activities, analyzing sales and operational performance, and providing recommendations that help clients make informed decisions. You will be expected to approach challenges logically, take initiative in finding solutions, improve existing processes, and maintain a high standard of accuracy across your work.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central and a strong interest in Amazon, e-commerce, and digital marketing. You should be comfortable navigating Amazon's operational environment, working with product and inventory information, and using data to make logical decisions that support business performance. You should have a solid analytical mindset and enjoy working with spreadsheets, reports, and numerical data. You should be able to look beyond individual products to understand broader patterns across product lines, categories, and variations.
The Amazon Operations Manager should be a curious and resourceful problem-solver who can approach unfamiliar situations with confidence and determination. You will need to investigate issues, identify potential causes, research possible solutions, and take the necessary actions to resolve them. Since Amazon operations frequently involve unexpected challenges, the ability to learn independently, think critically, and adapt your approach is particularly important.
Experience using Amazon-related tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms is expected. You should also be comfortable working with spreadsheets and using them to organize, interpret, and analyze information.
The right person will be detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven, with a strong sense of accountability for the quality and accuracy of their work. You should enjoy turning ideas and recommendations into practical actions and be able to communicate your reasoning clearly to both clients and internal team members. You should be comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment and contributing to a growing team. A positive attitude, humility, willingness to receive feedback, and genuine motivation to develop your Amazon expertise are important qualities for this position.
