You are a proactive, hands-on technical generalist who enjoys solving operational friction, connecting software ecosystems, and leveraging modern AI tools. You fit right in if you:

• Drive Automation & AI: You recognize repetitive, manual processes and can build the integrations or AI agents that eliminate them. You have hands-on experience building with AI tools and understand both their potential and their limits.

• Possess a Service Mindset: You are calm, clear, and responsive when helping colleagues resolve day-to-day tool or hardware issues, treating operational support as vital work rather than a distraction.

• Practical Problem-Solving: You can diagnose unfamiliar issues without needing a fixed runbook, comfortably read and adapt code, and write small scripts when needed.

• Take Full Ownership: You are a self-starter who identifies what needs doing, prioritizes tasks sensibly, and follows through to completion—including documentation and handover

👤 Your role

In this role, you will balance core IT operational reliability (~30%) with building workflow automations, tool integrations, and internal AI agents (~70%). Reporting directly to the COO as part of the Growth Support Team, you will keep company operations seamless while continuously elevating team efficiency across bookingkit.

📋 Responsibilities

• Build & Automate: Identify repetitive manual processes across teams and build automations or connect systems using tools like Zapier, n8n, Make, Apps Script, or Python.

• Develop AI Agents: Build and maintain internal AI agents and assistants for practical business use cases.

• Drive AI Enablement: Support company-wide AI adoption by running short clinics, sharing best practices, and helping colleagues master modern AI tools.

• Manage Tool & Laptop Lifecycles: Own laptop ordering, setup, handover, and returns, while managing software access, permissions, and license inventory across our tool stack.

• Lead Onboarding & Offboarding: Execute seamless IT onboarding and offboarding so team members have the exact tools they need from day one.

• Support & Resolve: Serve as the first stop for day-to-day internal tool issues and keep access/security hygiene updated.

• Maintain Self-Serve Documentation: Own internal IT and ops documentation to empower everyone at bookingkit to be self-sufficient.

✍🏼 Requirements

• 1–4 Years of Experience: Hands-on experience in business operations, IT operations, internal tools, or technical generalist roles.

• Proven Automation Track Record: Experience building and maintaining live automations using platforms like Zapier, n8n, Make, Apps Script, or Python.

• Scripting Comfort: Ability to read, adapt, and write small scripts.

• Hands-on AI Experience: Practical experience building tools or workflows with modern AI tooling.

• Service Orientation: Strong desire to help colleagues with day-to-day technical troubleshooting.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) with clear communication skills.
  

🎀 Nice to have

• Experience with Google Workspace administration or Atlassian administration (Jira, Confluence).

• Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Identity and Access Management (IAM / SSO).

• German language skills.
