About the role
Our AI agents hold thousands of conversations with customers every day, in Arabic and English, by voice and chat. We are looking for our first Arabic-speaking Conversation Designer: the person who makes sure the cultural and linguistic nuance of Arabic is a strength of our product, and that Arabic quality keeps pace with English as we scale.
You will join the conversation design team, reporting to the Conversation Design Manager, and lead the design of our Arabic AI agents: designing them, reviewing them, and setting the bar for what excellent Arabic sounds like in our product. You will be the team’s authority on Arabic conversation quality, and you will also contribute across the wider design workload: structuring requirements, designing conversations in both languages, and handing prompt engineers everything they need to build.
What you’ll own
Design conversations for new AI agents, voice and chat, for new and existing clients: conversation flows, dialogue structure, copy, and edge case handling.
Lead Arabic conversation design: design, review, and launch Arabic agents, and serve as the team’s authority on the linguistic and cultural quality of Arabic conversations.
Produce complete handover packages for prompt engineers: requirements, conversation designs, and guidelines that allow implementation to start without open questions.
Track and analyze agent performance with the analytics team, report on the impact of design changes, and recommend the next optimizations for each agent.
Run conversation quality reviews on live agents, covering the conversational quality dimensions that sit outside compliance QA.
Write and maintain our conversation design standards and methodology, and improve the internal processes the function runs on.
Your work directly influences our north-star metric: conversion of promises-to-pay into kept promises.
What we’re looking for
At least 1 year, ideally 2+, of conversation design experience on production chatbots and/or voice agents. Hands-on experience shipping a production bot is essential; pure UX copywriting without it is not enough for this role.
Arabic fluency with a deep feel for its linguistic and cultural nuances. You can hear what is off in a conversation and articulate why.
Comfort working with data: tracking, monitoring, and reporting on agent performance to prove the impact of your design decisions.
A high level of ownership and personal effectiveness. You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where structure is still being built.
Rigor and attention to detail. You treat documentation, reviews, and quality checks as core parts of the craft.
A curious, informed point of view on where voice AI and conversational interfaces are heading.
Nice to have
A background in Arabic linguistics.
Experience in fintech, collections, or outbound operations.
Hands-on experience with voice agents specifically.
