While incorporated in South Africa, the goal is to recruit and develop Talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa in order to service the diverse needs to enable projects at our clients. Talent employed, will have the full experience of Deloitte, while getting both local and international exposure to a diverse set of clients, working remotely from Africa.  It will take advantage of the demographic reality of Africa as a future source of talent for both Africa and Europe and at its core is the goal to create employment in Africa and invest in African talent.

The ethos of our organisation is characterised by vision, purpose beyond profit and an appetite to innovate and deliver creative, high impact solutions to urgent client challenges.

Every day, your work will make an impact that matters, while you thrive in a dynamic culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance. As the undisputed leader in professional services, Deloitte – Africa Talent - is where you will find unrivalled opportunities to succeed and realize your full potential.

This new team is a true encapsulation of hybrid work whereby you gain access and exposure to learn from and engage with colleagues in South Africa and Denmark, while working virtually from your local Deloitte office, or from home.

What impact will you make?

You will join Deloitte Denmark Risk Advisory, working remotely from South Africa, as a member of our IT and Specialized Assurance team. We help clients transform the ways in which they leverage people, technology, processes, and controls to address their financial and operational risks and drive performance within their business operations. As Senior Consultant your passion lies in improving business processes, systems and related controls in an everchanging IT landscape. An IT audit typically evaluates and reports on the procedures and control environment around the IT systems in place within an organization with a view to achieving more effective management of the risks to which the entity is exposed. We do so in the following ways:

  • We identify risks and weaknesses, thus enabling the definition of solutions for introducing controls over processes supported by IT.
  • We help organizations take advantage of new and innovative technologies and better manage their risks through advisory and managed services.
  • We advise on general IT controls and audit application controls within the area of IT audit and support financial auditing tasks.
  • We provide clients with Third Party Assurance reports on several topics, including general IT controls in an outsourcing environment, application and process controls, protection of personal data, and the GDPR (e.g. ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, SOC 2).
  • We support and transform internal audit functions to provide relevant and timely insights to Executive Management and the Board on a wide range of risks.
  • We work across functions within Deloitte to provide our clients with the right set of skills.

In your role as participating team lead you are the voice of the client. As Senior Consultant you are expected to give the client a heads-up for possible problems and then act as a sounding board to find solutions. At the same time, you will service and expand your personal network.
