Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and employees, escalating complex matters to the People Partner as appropriate. 
  • Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contract changes, promotions, transfers, and exits, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates. 
  • Coordinate payroll validation activities, including tracking starters, leavers, contractual changes, and right-to-work checks (where applicable). 
  • Support the execution of cyclical HR processes such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and year-end activities. 
  • Support compensation and reward processes (e.g., salary changes, annual merit) in partnership with Total Rewards and the People Partner. 
  • Provide guidance to employees on benefits, leave of absence, and statutory programs, escalating complex cases as required. 

Employee Relations & Support

  • Support employee relations casework under the guidance of the People Partner, including note-taking, documentation, fact-finding, and coordination of meetings. 
  • Attend formal ER meetings as HR representative where appropriate, supporting preparation of invitation and outcome letters. 
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and consistent application of employment practices. 
  • Escalate complex or high-risk ER matters to the People Partner, HRBP, or Legal as required. 
  • Build effective working relationships with Area and Store leaders, providing practical HR advice and support. 

Talent Management & Development

  • Support performance management processes including probation reviews, goal setting, quarterly check-ins/snapshots, and development planning. 
  • Assist with exit interviews and feedback analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities. 
  • Assist in succession planning and talent review processes in partnership with People Partners and HR Business Partners. 
  • Partner with Learning & Development to support training needs and employee development initiatives. 
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and matrixed working models. 

Organizational Development & Change Leadership

  • Support delivery of change initiatives and org effectiveness activities in partnership with the People Partner and HR Business Partner. 
  • Contribute to communication planning and stakeholder coordination for field initiatives. 
  • Champion a positive, inclusive culture and employee experience in day-to-day interactions. 

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in HRIS systems and maintain employee records, in accordance with GDPR and applicable data privacy regulations. 
  • Support compliance with global policies and local labor regulations across supported markets. 
  • Prepare and maintain basic HR reporting and metrics, including employee relations data where relevant. 
  • Partner with HR administrators/shared services to ensure timely processing of HR transactions and audits of personnel files. 

The accomplished individual will possess….

  • Foundational knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, particularly within the UK; exposure to other EMEA markets is an advantage. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills including conflict resolution. 
  • Strong coaching skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate proactive approach. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and trends. 
  • Experience in change management. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Teams), and HR people platforms (Workday a plus)

Base Pay Range:

€45,000.00 - €60,000.00

The salary range shown represents the full-time equivalent base pay for this position at the time of posting, in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive. For part-time roles, the salary will be pro-rated based on contracted hours. Actual compensation will be determined using objective, job-related criteria.
