Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Advanced Associate Inside Sales Specialist to spearhead our vocational education initiatives in Egypt and other markets as appropriate as set out by the leader. As a member of the Enterprise Learning & Skills (ELS) VQ MENAT Sales Team, the Advanced Associate Inside Sales Specialist will work collaboratively with colleagues to promote Pearson Vocational Qualifications for designated accounts to maximise the sales of Pearson qualifications throughout the region. Success in this role will strengthen our relationship with customers and grow revenue by proving exceptional service to meet sales targets.

 

Main Responsibilities

· Support the promotion of Pearson’s qualifications and resources across the region

· Provide designated customers with excellent service, proactively managing customer expectations and resolving queries in a timely manner to secure revenue against agreed targets

· Collaborate with sales colleagues to support and undertake the annual plan for the management of key accounts and high-value prospects to maximize revenue and achieve growth targets

· Generate and manage reports using Pearson systems to build an effective sales pipeline and analyse data across a variety of business parameters

· Prepare and support the activities of the regional sales and marketing teams, including the coordination of relevant conferences and exhibitions

· Provide cover and backup when sales team members are on annual leave or otherwise absent

· Proactively grow product knowledge around Pearson products and services, the education landscape in the region, and factors influencing market development to present the best proposition for the customer

· Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential as you will be joining a team with ever-changing priorities

· Attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling large volumes without sacrificing quality, are critical to be successful in this position

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, coupled with a proactive approach to addressing challenges

· Customer-oriented in everything you do

 

Essential Competencies

· Strong analytical skills, including historical sales analysis, pricing, and forecasting

· Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills

· Excellent spoken and written command of English

· Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills plus an ability to operate in a matrix-reporting environment

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Problem-solving skills – ability to think quickly and resolve issues should they arise

 

Desirable Competencies

· Strong understanding of vocational education and training systems 

· Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets 

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team  

· Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

· Valid driver's license and access to a car as travel will be required. 

· Proficiency at C1 level in both Arabic and English
