AdTech Client #1 | Senior DevOps Data Engineer

On behalf of AdTech Client #1, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior DevOps Data Engineer to build, operate, and scale the platforms behind our data systems—running containerized workloads on Kubernetes, managing GitOps-based deployments, and keeping data pipelines reliable at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Build, operate, and scale containerized data infrastructure on Kubernetes and/or Linux-based systems, including engines like Spark, across batch and streaming workloads
• Write automation and tooling in Python
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across distributed systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, working in a production Linux environment.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of distributed and data systems
• Good Python scripting experience
• Hands-on with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Experience with a version control and CI/CD tool (e.g., GitLab or GitHub)
• Strong English communication skills, team player, independent
  

Advantages:

• Exposure to data warehouses/data lakes and processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Trino) across batch and/or stream workloads
• Experience with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD / Flux)
• Experience administering at least one NoSQL database (Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB)
• Previous experience as a data engineer or software engineer with an infrastructure background
