Account Manager

The impact you will make:
The Account Manager at The Intern Group (TIG) is responsible for the account management of our global company partners  & the coordination of internship placements for thousands of our participants each year. 


This role is central to The Intern Group’s continued growth, driving the development and management of relationships with our global company partners that provide exceptional internship opportunities for our participants. The role is intern-facing and critical in providing mentorship and support to our participants around the world, helping them realize their potential through our international and remote internship program. 



You’re excited about working here because you’ll:

  • Build and maintain relationships with partner companies across our global destinations.
  • Expand our network of partner companies through account management initiatives that contribute to the growth of our global internship role bank.
  • Manage and coordinate the placement process between our company partners and internship candidates to provide the best possible matches.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance and provide support to both company partners and participants.
  • Mentor and guide participants throughout the placement and matching process.
  • Manage and resolve ad-hoc issues or complaints with host organizations and interns before and during their internship experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our global team on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver against placement and account management targets while contributing to year-over-year business growth.
  • Opportunities for exposure to global projects and initiatives designed to support the continued strategic growth of our global business. 



We’re excited about you working here because you have: 

  • Previous B2B sales or partnership development/account management experience
  • Experience with CRM and automation
  • Experience in prospecting and taking clients through a ‘sales’ cycle
  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Near-native fluency in English, (bonus points for Spanish or other languages!) 
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to work well under strict timelines 
  • Excellent organizational skills - ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong communication skills, strong networking and interpersonal skills.
