AI Summary

The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for mid-market companies, managing a high volume of opportunities from discovery to close. They are also responsible for growing assigned partner relationships to drive a co-sell pipeline and revenue.

Get to know the Sales Team

We move fast; some people say it, but we mean it! This is a hypergrowth sales org — we are a like-minded collective of builders, doers, and high-agency individuals. We work on the leading edge with companies to solve their most critical security & compliance challenges. We often hear that we are the home of people's "favorite sales role they have ever had." If you want to be part of a team that moves fast — and wins doing it — you're in the right place.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Growth Account Executive to join our growing GTM team. This role is built for a driven, high-velocity closer who wants to own a full sales cycle at the intersection of cybersecurity, compliance, and services. You'll become a trusted advisor to prospects — helping them understand and solve their compliance challenges, not just closing deals. You'll own the full sales cycle within our Growth Segment (50–400 FTE companies), managing a high volume of opportunities while developing deep expertise in security and compliance frameworks. You'll also be assigned specific partner relationships to own and grow over time, driving a co-sell pipeline alongside your direct sales motion. Our deals typically involve $40k-$50k ACVs, with an average sales cycle of 30-45 days.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle — manage deals independently from discovery through proposal, contracting, and close.
  • Run a high-volume motion — manage 30-40 opportunities per month while consistently closing 10-15+ deals per month.
  • Grow assigned partner relationships — own specific partner accounts, deepening those relationships over time and driving co-sell pipeline and revenue through them.
  • Develop technical expertise — build deep knowledge in SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks to have meaningful, consultative conversations with prospects.
  • Engage key stakeholders — build relationships with security leaders, compliance teams, and technical buyers at growing mid-market companies.
  • Stay ahead of your pipeline — respond quickly, stay organized, and proactively drive deals forward rather than waiting on prospects.
  • Collaborate and improve — contribute to refining our sales playbooks, messaging, and qualification criteria based on what you're learning in the field.

Who You Are

  • Proven full-cycle closer — 3-5 years of Account Executive experience owning a full sales cycle (discovery → proposal → contracting → close).
  • Mid-market seller — experience selling primarily to mid-market companies, ideally startups with 50-400 employees.
  • High-volume performer — track record managing 30-40 opportunities a month while consistently closing 10-15+ deals a month, with average contract sizes around $40,000-$50,000 and a 30-45 day sales cycle.
  • Partner-minded relationship builder — comfortable owning and growing assigned partner relationships over time, and driving pipeline through a co-sell motion.
  • Highly responsive and organized — proactive in customer communication and disciplined about staying on top of a large, moving pipeline.
  • Self-starter — thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable operating with autonomy and some ambiguity.

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Experience selling a service, rather than software.
  • Experience building partner relationships and selling through or alongside a channel partner.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, SaaS, or technical services.
  • Experience selling to technical buyers (CTOs, CISOs, IT leaders, founders, engineering leaders).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or CMMC.
  • Experience working in HubSpot.

What We Offer

  • Career Development: Clear path with mentorship and training opportunities.
  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive base salary with regular performance reviews linked to merit-based appraisals and bonus opportunities.
  • Growth Opportunity: Early-stage company with significant room for career advancement.
  • Remote-First Culture: Flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.

What You'll Need to Thrive

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with prospects, partners, and business leaders across global teams.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment that supports confidential conversations, virtual interviews, and uninterrupted collaboration.
  • Commitment to working a standard schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in your local time to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally for occasional onsite meetings, team gatherings, or business activities as needed.

Hiring and Selection Process

  • Candidates must participate in live video interviews throughout the hiring process with camera on (non-negotiable) and be prepared to verify their identity during recruitment and onboarding.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of identity verification and background screening, where permitted by law.

Workstreet does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship or transfers for this role, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1 (OPT/CPT), J-1, or any other work-authorized visa category.
