Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Revenue, the Account Executive is responsible for selling TraceGains products to medium and large-size brand accounts with annual revenues of $25 million or greater. This individual contributor role involves developing the territory and closing new account sales, and will be remotely located out of Mexico.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

  • Generating new business through identifying, prospecting, managing, and closing new opportunities, targeting leads within our industry segments.
  • Delivering high-caliber, persuasive presentations incorporating value-based strategies and impact.
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge and insight into prospective clients’ business processes while linking our product offerings to the needs of executives across the supply chain.
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts.
  • Developing and optimizing a full sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieving targeted sales quota.
  • Developing a strong presence and awareness for our product offerings through participation in tradeshows, customer sites, industry and company events, etc.
  • Collaborating with commercial associates in affiliated companies (Esko, Videojet, etc.).

The essential requirements of the job include:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales and industry experience in related fields such as food manufacturing and/or B2B sales of software solutions.
  • Proven success with prospecting and selling skills to land new accounts and develop a new territory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Demonstrates 5 to 10 years of quota achievement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to customer sites and industry events, which may include overnight stays
