The Patient Care Coordinator I is responsible for scheduling medical referrals, diagnostic tests, and treatments, ensuring patients are notified and understand directions. They also follow up on referrals and assist with identifying patients with special needs.

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for answering incoming calls to the department and performing follow-up for the collection of various types of insurance claims, including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and self-pay. This follow-up must be done in an accurate and timely manner.
