The expert will review existing aviation legislation and advise on its implications, as well as develop systems for the supervision and enforcement of air law. Additionally, they will produce planning documentation for inclusion in the Civil Aviation Master Plan.

The expert will lead the FAL iPack team in implementing and monitoring compliance with Annex 9 Standards, ensuring effective facilitation oversight and collaboration among stakeholders. They will also develop training programs and quality control activities to enhance national regulatory bodies' capabilities.

The ICAO Roster-IPAV Expert will perform duties related to the deployment of aviation professionals as volunteers to assist States in emergencies and develop civil aviation capabilities. The role includes strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of projects in civil aviation.
