The linguist will translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files from English to Somali. They are also responsible for reviewing and certifying the work quality of other translators while adhering to government style guides.

The primary duties involve providing accurate translation, editing, and/or transcription of legal and law enforcement documents from English to Hungarian, adhering strictly to government client style guides and quality standards. This includes editing complex legal documents like affidavits and depositions, demonstrating strong legal terminology command in both languages.

The role involves performing freelance legal translation and/or editing services from English into Brazilian Portuguese for a United States Government client. Linguists must be available during core EST hours to handle on-demand assignments.
