The Associate Legal Fellow will conduct legal research, draft legislative and executive materials, and track court cases relevant to FGA priorities. They will also lead multi-state policy surveys and produce memos and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
The Associate Fellow will draft and review legislation, develop policy reform concepts, and write policy memos and research products. Additionally, the role involves traveling to states to deliver legislative testimony and provide technical assistance to lawmakers.
The State Government Affairs Director will develop and execute legislative strategies across four states to advance reform priorities. They will also cultivate relationships with policymakers and manage in-state contractors to ensure the successful passage of legislation.
