Lead the development and implementation of new annuity products and enhancements while managing the existing in-force annuity block. Partner with cross-functional teams including Actuarial, Legal, and Distribution to drive product design, pricing, and marketing collateral.

Responsible for managing expense allocations, statutory expense reporting, and peer review analysis. This includes developing financial models, maintaining prorates in SAP, and ensuring SOX compliance for internal controls.

The role involves conducting technical accounting research and interpreting US GAAP and SAP for various corporate topics. The advisor will also manage SEC financial statement reviews and serve as the primary liaison between the technical accounting group and auditors.

Support financial advisors via inbound calls regarding annuity and life insurance solutions to enhance relationships and develop sales opportunities. Provide product illustrations, resolve advisor requests, and refer potential sales leads to Internal Wholesalers.

The Appointed Actuary is responsible for assessing asset adequacy and attesting to statutory reserves for multiple operating companies. This role involves leading regulatory engagements, shaping strategic risk management, and presenting technical actuarial insights to senior management and the Board of Directors.
