Amica Center for Immigrant Rights (Amica Center)

Provide administrative and programmatic support to the Detained Adult Program, including conducting country conditions research for asylum cases. Assist with immigration relief applications, FOIA requests, and communicating with detained clients and their families.

Assist staff with immigration appeals before the BIA and U.S. Courts of Appeal, including drafting briefs and conducting legal research. Support federal district court actions such as habeas petitions, FOIA complaints, and the development of public practice advisories.

Assist staff in representing detained clients in immigration proceedings through legal research and writing. Responsibilities include preparing applications for relief, collecting country conditions evidence, and communicating with clients and their families.
