The Reporter II will develop and produce daily general news and in-depth stories across radio, podcast, digital, and social platforms. This includes cultivating sources, pitching stories, and delivering high-quality voice and visual content on deadline.

Acts as the primary editorial bridge between local partner stations and the national Marketplace newsroom to amplify regional economic storytelling. Manages joint programming projects, edits multichannel content, and provides editorial guidance to stations with limited reporting capacity.

The role focuses on translating national philanthropic priorities into actionable funding plans and compelling proposals. It involves designing engagement strategies to build relationships with national funders and managing the end-to-end grant submission process.
