Workday Integration - Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for a Workday Integration Consultant with 2–5 years of relevant Workday Integration experience, with hands-on exposure to Finance / Workday Financials integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations to support business requirements, with a focus on finance-related processes and data flows.

The role involves working closely with clients, business stakeholders, and project teams to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable, reliable, and effective Workday solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on Workday Integration experience.
  
• Hands-on experience working on Finance / Workday Financials integrations.
  
• Strong knowledge of EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, and other integration technologies.
  
• Experience with integrations involving finance-related business processes such as Suppliers, Customers, Accounts, Financial Accounting, Expenses, Payments, Banking, or related Workday Financials areas.
  
• Must have experience working on at least one end-to-end Workday implementation, preferably involving Finance integrations.
  
• Hands-on experience in integration development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  
• Good understanding of Web Services and solution design approaches around them.
  
• Strong knowledge of data exchange formats such as XML and JSON.
  
• Experience with XSLT / data transformation is preferred.
  
• Good knowledge of Workday Reports / Advanced Reports / BIRT and their use in integrations.
  
• Experience working with third-party systems and external applications as part of integration solutions.
  
• Active Workday Integration certification is mandatory.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and integration requirements and translate them into effective Workday integration solutions.
  
• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Workday integrations based on client requirements.
  
• Work on Finance / Workday Financials integration requirements, understanding the flow of finance-related data between Workday and external systems.
  
• Collaborate with client project teams, Finance/HR stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to gather requirements and understand existing processes.
  
• Develop and maintain integrations using EIB, Studio, Connectors, Web Services, and other Workday integration technologies.
  
• Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, and deployment activities.
  
• Support integration-related issues in production and identify opportunities for optimization.
  
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy across integrated systems.
  
• Participate in integration design discussions and contribute to scalable and maintainable solution approaches.
  
• Conduct analysis of existing integrations and recommend improvements where required.
  
• Work effectively in client-facing environments and manage expectations around integration deliverables and timelines.
  
• Stay current with new Workday integration technologies, features, and capabilities.
