the West Coast Territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and representing
PROTIRE’s industrial forklift tires, wheels, rubber tracks, undercarriage parts, and related product solutions. The successful candidate
will be self-directed, commercially minded, and comfortable managing a large multi-state territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan that supports company revenue, margin, and market-growth goals.
• Prospect for new customers through research, referrals, industry relationships, field visits, and targeted outreach.
• Manage and expand existing customer accounts by understanding business needs and recommending the right products and
services.
• Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, OEMs, fleet operators, and other industrial equipment customers.
• Prepare and deliver professional product presentations, proposals, quotations, and account reviews.
• Coordinate with inside sales, customer service, operations, purchasing, and leadership to ensure timely and accurate customer
support.
• Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and provide accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and activity reports.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, market conditions, and customer trends within the assigned territory.
• Address customer questions regarding products, applications, pricing, availability, and value-added services.
• Represent PROTIRE at customer meetings, trade events, and industry functions as assigned.
• Travel throughout the territory approximately every other week, based on customer and business needs.
Required Qualifications
• Proven success in outside sales, territory management, business development, or a closely related B2B sales role.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Comfort using CRM, Microsoft Office, email, video meetings, and other standard business tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by vehicle and air throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling industrial forklift tires, rubber tracks, undercarriage parts, wheels, material-handling products, or related
equipment.
• Existing relationships within the material-handling, construction-equipment, tire, or industrial distribution markets.
• Experience managing a large, multi-state territory and developing dealer or distributor networks.
West Coast Territory
The assigned territory includes the following 11 states: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah,
Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii. The representative may be based anywhere within the territory, with reasonable access to a major
airport.
Performance Expectations
• Meet or exceed agreed sales, gross-margin, new-account, and customer-retention goals.
• Maintain accurate account, pipeline, activity, and forecast information.
• Create productive travel schedules and use territory time effectively.
• Communicate customer needs, market feedback, competitive activity, and major opportunities to leadership.
