Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level WordPress Developer with strong Kadence theme and block builder experience to support client projects on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites using Kadence (theme, blocks, and starter templates), and is comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, client-facing environment.

You will collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to deliver high-performing, responsive, and visually appealing websites aligned with client goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using the Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks.

  • Translate design mockups (Figma/Adobe XD) into responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress pages.

  • Optimize website performance, speed, SEO, and accessibility.

  • Customize themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP when needed.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.

  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.

  • Integrate third-party tools such as CRMs, analytics, and marketing platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate progress effectively in a remote setup.

  • Maintain website security best practices, updates, and backups.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in WordPress development.

  • Proven experience working with Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks (required).

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; working knowledge of PHP is a plus.

  • Experience with page builders and Gutenberg block customization.

  • Familiarity with website performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights).

  • Understanding of SEO best practices and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple freelance projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
