The technician will track project budgets, schedules, invoices, and vendor billing to ensure project milestones are met. They will also maintain project dashboards, identify risks, and support engineering and construction deliverables.
A West Texas infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced Water Engineering Technician to support engineering and construction projects.
This position is ideal for someone who is exceptionally organized and comfortable owning the details behind budgets, schedules, invoices, vendor coordination and project reporting.
Responsibilities
Track project budgets, commitments, invoices and forecasts
Maintain cost reports and monitor budget performance
Coordinate vendor billing, purchase orders and payment status
Maintain project schedules and milestones
Track engineering, permitting, procurement and construction deliverables
Support project meetings and action-item tracking
Identify budget or schedule risks
Maintain dashboards and project reporting tools
Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, Project Management or related field
5+ years supporting engineering, construction, utility, infrastructure or industrial projects
Experience with budget tracking, document control, scheduling and vendor coordination
Strong Excel skills
Excellent organization and communication skills
