The Vice President of Regional Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales managers and individual contributors to achieve revenue and profit goals. They will develop comprehensive sales plans, recruit and coach team members, and drive best practices across the assigned territory.

The Vice President, Regional Sales (RSVP) is responsible for leading a team of high performing Sales Managers and individual contributors within an assigned region or territory. The RSVP will develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve, exceed revenue and profit goals in collaboration with the Sr Vice President of Sales. The RSVP is also responsible for recruiting, developing, and coaching new and existing sales team members to stay staffed and meet productivity goals and metrics.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Lead a high activity sales model with multiple sales managers across an assigned regional territory.
Span of control includes sales managers and their respective sales teams of roughly 100+ individual contributors.
Responsible for delivering sales plan through disciplined activity execution, full staffing, and sales productivity improvement.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to ensure that revenue and profit goals are met.
Recruit, develop, coach, and support new and existing Sales Managers as well as sales team members.
Collaborate internally to drive best practices through the organization. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Successful track record of managing through the use of formal weekly activity guidelines and technology-based activities measurement system, and a targeted account strategy.
Executive presence and proficiency in consultative selling skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Competitive spirit, strong leadership skills, and a track record of accomplishments required.
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum three years managing the sales process and team in a business to business sales environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contact management databases.
Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
Field based position.
Opportunity to work remotely.
Approximately 50-75% travel.
