What You’ll Do Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, DevOps, integration, and support, along with outsourced and co-sourced partners, reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the CTO Translate the approved roadmap into priorities, capacity plans, releases, and measurable commitments while managing technical debt and executing modernization priorities Ensure platform reliability and uptime through monitoring, incident response, change control, root-cause review, disaster-recovery testing, and vulnerability remediation Improve delivery speed and consistency through CI/CD, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code Lead EHR interface delivery, customer implementations, support operations, and escalations Maintain audit and compliance readiness, including quality-system obligations for regulated software and access, provisioning, and offboarding controls Manage partners and technology vendors, including the IT help desk, through clear scopes, service levels, scorecards, and delivery reviews Build team capability through clear goals, coaching, hiring, performance management, and succession planning Run a disciplined operating cadence and report on delivery, reliability, security, and compliance performance to executive leadership Qualifications: What We’re Looking For Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform operations, or technology delivery, including 5+ years leading managers and multidisciplinary teams in a SaaS environment Proven success turning product and technology strategy into roadmaps, releases, and measurable business outcomes while balancing speed, reliability, security, and cost Strong working knowledge of public cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, SRE practices, incident management, and disaster recovery Experience delivering healthcare technology and EHR integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interface engines Experience operating in a regulated healthcare or similarly controlled environment, including HIPAA, security and privacy controls, and audit readiness Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing teams and to govern outsourced partners through contracts, service levels, and scorecards Strong business judgment, financial acumen, and communication, negotiation, and change-leadership skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Ability to travel periodically to company offices, customer sites, and leadership meetings Nice to Have Understanding of clinical workflows FinOps experience Experience with software quality-system requirements for regulated software
