We are a growing regtech company, fully remote in operation and based in Dublin, Ireland. We provide critical Mobile Intelligence services to the Irish Banking ecosystem, enabling stronger fraud prevention and authentication capabilities. Although we maintain a global approach to hiring, this leadership role requires some overlap with Irish business hours to support team collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and occasional travel to Ireland.

Lead the Next Phase of Our Growth

We are seeking a visionary technology leader who can define and execute our technology strategy, empowering the business to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes. This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage in the company's evolution, where the successful candidate will have significant influence over our direction, culture, and growth.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with the freedom to shape both the technology function and the ways of working that best support the team and the business. Whilst experience leading technology organisations is essential, prior exposure to our specific technology stack is not. We are looking for an individual with the strategic thinking, leadership capability, and adaptability to quickly understand our environment and guide its future development.

As our first dedicated Head of Technology, you will lead a team of four experienced technology professionals who have historically reported directly to the CEO. This team represents approximately half of our current workforce and forms the foundation upon which we will continue to scale. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building organisational maturity, developing technical leadership within the team, and ensuring technology remains a strategic differentiator for the business.

• A modern private cloud platform built on VMware technologies, including distributed storage, software-defined networking, and Kubernetes orchestration through Tanzu.
• Enterprise-grade Dell infrastructure delivered through a streamlined single-vendor operating model.
• Highly resilient dual-site architecture designed to support continuous service delivery and disaster recovery requirements.
• Dedicated high-speed, low-latency connectivity between sites, enabling active operational workloads and rapid failover capabilities.
• Critical services delivering exceptionally high availability and 24x365 operational reliability for customers operating in regulated financial environments.
• Deep integration with mobile network operators and telecommunications partners, requiring strong operational relationships and a robust understanding of carrier-grade service expectations.
• Modern .NET application development practices, with containerised workloads deployed to Kubernetes.
• PostgreSQL data platforms deployed and operated within Kubernetes environments.
• Automated CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment tooling that enable rapid, reliable, and repeatable software delivery.

Immediate Priorities (First 12 Months)

As Head of Technology, you will be expected to lead several strategic technology initiatives that will shape the company's next phase of growth and operational maturity, including:

• Driving the adoption and practical deployment of AI across the business to improve productivity, delivery velocity, and operational efficiency.
• Determining the pace and timing of retiring legacy Windows-based infrastructure and Microsoft SQL Server platforms, reducing technical debt and simplifying operations.
• Determining the viability, benefits and costs of designing and executing the migration to a modern private cloud platform, establishing a post-VMware infrastructure strategy that supports future scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
