Position Overview
The VP, Associate Creative Director, Art is a senior creative leader who plays a key role in supporting agency growth through new business initiatives, strategic storytelling, and pitch development. This individual plays a critical role in shaping how BGB presents itself to prospective clients, translating complex ideas into compelling visual narratives that showcase the agency's strategic thinking, creativity, and capabilities.
This role requires a highly organized and entrepreneurial leader who can successfully drive multiple workstreams within each pitch opportunity. In addition to leading visual creative development, this individual will coordinate cross-functional teams, brief contributors, facilitate creative reviews, build stakeholder buy-in, and help drive alignment across departments to ensure seamless execution from opportunity identification through final presentation.
As a highly visible representative of the agency, this role requires exceptional presentation skills, executive presence, and a sharp eye for design, detail, and visual communication. The ideal candidate is a polished creative leader who understands the nuances of healthcare communications and can develop sophisticated, strategically grounded creative solutions that resonate with both scientific and commercial audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the visual creative development of new business opportunities, including pitch concepts, presentation design, agency positioning materials, and growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with agency leadership, Strategy, Account, Medical, and Business Development teams toidentifyand pursue new opportunities.
- Drive and coordinate multiple workstreams within each pitch opportunity, including briefing teams, managing timelines,facilitatingreviews, building stakeholder alignment, and ensuring all contributors are working toward a cohesive strategic and creative vision.
- Partner across Creative, Strategy, Medical, Account, Business Development, and Executive Leadership teams to build consensus andmaintainmomentum throughout the development of business opportunities.
- Demonstrateentrepreneurial ownership by proactively identifying opportunities, solving challenges, and ensuring projects progress efficiently from concept through final delivery.
- Develop compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate complex strategic, scientific, and commercial concepts.
- Create and oversee high-quality pitch presentations that are visually sophisticated, strategically focused, and meticulously executed.
- Serve as a confident and polished presenter during client meetings, pitch presentations, workshops, and agency marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all business development materials are exceptionally buttoned-up,accurate, visually cohesive, and reflective of BGB's standards of excellence.
- Establishand uphold exceptional standards of visual execution, ensuring all presentations and business development materials are contemporary, highly polished, and fully production-ready.
- Demonstratea deep understanding of healthcare communications, therapeutic area dynamics, market trends, and client business challenges.
- Translate complex healthcare and scientific information into engaging visual stories and creative solutions.
- Partner with copy, strategy, and medical teams to develop integrated pitch narratives and differentiated creative concepts.
- Contribute to agency thought leadership, marketing efforts, and strategic initiatives that elevate BGB's visibility and reputation in the marketplace.
- Helpestablishand maintain best practices, templates, and visual standards for business development and agency presentations.
- During periods of lower new business activity, partner with brand teams on high-touch creative assignments, visual identity development, campaign concepting, and other strategic creative initiatives.
- Mentor and support creative team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, craftsmanship, and creative excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional conceptual thinking and visual storytelling abilities.
- Outstanding design sensibility with a strong understanding of branding, presentation design, and creative communications.
- Strong presentation skills and executive presence, with the ability to confidently communicate creative ideas to senior stakeholders and prospective clients.
- Deep understanding of healthcare communications and pharmaceutical marketing, including industry nuances and regulatory considerations.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, high-quality work.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect creative ideas to businessobjectives.
- Expertise invisual communication, creative problem-solving, and translating complex information into engaging experiences.

Experience
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare communications, pharmaceutical advertising, ora relatedfield.
- Demonstratedsuccess leading or contributing significantly to new business pitches, agency growth initiatives, and client presentations.
- Proven ability to develop compelling visual narratives and creative concepts for healthcare brands and organizations.
- Experience partnering closely with Strategy, Medical, Account, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Experience supporting product launches, including high-science and specialty products, preferred.
- Global experience a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
Salary Range: $170,000 - $230,000
BGB Group is headquartered in New York City, and the salary range listed reflects the expected base compensation for this role in the New York City metropolitan area. This position may be performed remotely within the United States. For candidates located outside the New York City area, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market for the employee’s primary work location. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
