Children Not Numbers is looking for volunteers with IT skills related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure. We are seeking multiple volunteers, so please apply even if you have expertise in just one of the areas outlined below.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
User administration
- Invite and manage guest users within the organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Create new user accounts and assign appropriate access levels.
- Manage M365 groups and security groups within Azure Entra ID.
- Ensure groups are monitored and flag any potential security concerns with access levels
User support
- Provide technical support and training for staff and volunteers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user access and IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Develop user guides and documentation for system processes
Sharepoint
- Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites.
- Create and manage document libraries and SharePoint lists.
- Provide training and support to users on SharePoint functionalities.
Power BI
- Create and maintain interactive reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Connect to various data sources, primarily SharePoint, and optimise data models using Power Query and DAX.
- Manage access controls and ensure data security compliance.
- Create user-friendly report interfaces in line with branding guidelines.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with user administration and security best practices.
- Ability to provide IT support and training in a clear and accessible manner.
- Experience with data integration, report development, and compliance measures (for Power BI roles).
- Knowledge of UI design principles for creating user-friendly interfaces in Power BI reports.
Commitment
A minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate additional hours when required.
