The Voluntary Benefits Consultant in Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) division is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and strategic consulting in the voluntary benefits (VB) space. This client and branch-facing role will primarily focus on overseeing the incumbent block of business in your prescribed geography. Practically, you will be driving business development through identifying gaps and opportunities, delivering tailored VB solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective program design, implementation, and vendor management. The consultant leverages in-depth product knowledge and expertise to support new business opportunities, enhance existing client relationships, and align VB strategies with Gallagher’s integrated sales model. |

Required: Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or related field.
Proven experience in voluntary benefits consulting, business development or related field.
Strong background in vendor management and client relationship management.
Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant insurance licenses (e.g. Life and Health) or ability to obtain
Preferred: Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred. Excellent sales capabilities; outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
