Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Immediate Openings (3 FTE) (Sign On Bonus Included)

*Parallel is actively hiring 3 Full-Time (FTE) Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) licensed in Tennessee for an immediate active assignment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Parallel is seeking expert Speech-Language Pathologists to fill three full-time positions supporting Middle and High School students. What You’ll Do

• Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students per SLP.
• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions (30-minute sessions) for Middle and High School grade levels.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations leveraging Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Lead IEP meetings, provide full case management, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to design, monitor, and refine Individualized Education Programs.
• Systematically track session data and student progress to offer insightful IEP consultations.
• Develop detailed, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Deliver specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

What You’ll Need

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active SLP license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based experience conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management assignments.
• Demonstrated expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Prior experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability for a standard 35-hour work week during regular school hours (Monday – Friday).

Compensation

The rates below apply to this 1099 opportunity and are based on the primary service delivery state. W-2 options may also be available depending on active state licenses, weekly availability, and district needs.

• TN: Hourly pay rate starts at $52/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $500 sign-on bonus available.
• Onboarding Stipend: Additional stipend for completing onboarding within 2 days.
