AI Summary

The role involves traveling across the U.S. to capture cinematic footage of patients and medical professionals for brand and social content. Responsibilities include end-to-end post-production, including editing, color grading, and optimizing videos for platforms like TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.

About Honeydew 👋

No one should suffer from a treatable skin disease because they couldn't access care. That's what Honeydew is fixing — a platform connecting hundreds of millions of people to licensed dermatologists, FDA-approved treatments, and ongoing skin health support. We've helped 40,000+ patients get life-changing results, we're growing 5x YoY, and we're just getting started.

Opportunity 📈

We're building a growth team where strong creative drives real results. Design, performance, and iteration all work together — and this role sits right at the center of it.

We're looking for a Videographer & Video Editor who can own both sides of the camera and hit the ground running. We're looking to start this role part-time (20+ hours/week), with the expectation of transitioning to full-time for the right fit. If you're talented, aligned, and ready to grow with us, let's talk. We're building for the long-term.

This is a hybrid role: you'll travel to shoot with patients, dermatologists, brand ambassadors, and content creators across the U.S., then come back and edit what you filmed — plus cut concepts across our social and paid pipeline. Your work will live on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, organic, and web. You know how to shoot and cut for each one, and it shows.

You're the right person if you:

  • Are equally at home behind a high-def camera in a clinical setting and color-grading branded ads in post

  • Can produce polished, hi-fi content without a full production crew behind you

  • Know when "good enough fast" beats "perfect eventually"

  • Stay scrappy, move quickly, and don't rattle under pressure

  • Sweat the details — not because you need the fanciest gear, but because quality is just how you work

You’ll join the Honeydew Growth team led by Connor Kreutz, and you’ll report directly to Creative Lead Marina Pantoliano, who are both based in New York City.

What You’ll Do:

Field Production

  • Travel to shoot patients, Honeydew’s CEO, dermatologists, brand ambassadors, and content creators across the U.S.

  • Capture cinematic footage for hero brand content, testimonials, educational videos, UGC-style content, and social-first formats

  • Own the full on-site process: shot planning, directing talent, lighting, audio, and broadcast-quality output

  • Operate professional-grade equipment (your own preferred; equipment fees and rentals covered)

  • Adapt across environments — medical offices, studios, outdoors

Post-Production

  • Edit your own field footage end-to-end, from rough cut through final export

  • Cut native social (organic) and branded paid content when you're not in the field

  • Execute color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and text overlays to brand standards

  • Stay organized: file management, project archiving, and fast turnarounds in a deadline-driven environment

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Creative Lead and growth team to concept new creative

  • Contribute to shot lists, production planning, and logistics for upcoming shoots

  • Stay sharp on platform trends (Reels, TikTok, YouTube) and bring fresh ideas

Qualifications:

Required

  • 4+ years of videography and editing experience, with a strong portfolio of hi-fi brand content

  • Ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight trips

  • Ownership of professional-grade camera and audio equipment (Sony FX series, Canon Cinema line, BMPCC, RED, or equivalent)

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve

  • Experience producing content across multiple formats: long-form brand films, :15/:30 paid social ads, vertical short-form, and interview/testimonial content

  • Comfortable directing non-actor talent (patients, doctors, real people) on camera

  • Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated experience shooting for consumer brands or lifestyle verticals

  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or dermatology content

  • Familiarity with drone operation (FAA Part 107 certification a plus)

  • Motion graphics or animation skills in Adobe After Effects or similar

  • Basic photography skills for behind-the-scenes or supplemental still content

  • Strong understanding of native and paid social content best practices across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube

Compensation & Benefits

Part-time: $100–$120/hr (or project-based, commensurate with experience). Rate is flexible and we're happy to talk through what makes sense based on your experience.

Path to full-time for the right fit. Which would include:

  • Equity in Honeydew

  • Flexible PTO

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance (in the case of a full-time commitment)

  • 401k with company match

  • One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, and HealthAdvocate memberships

  • Company MacBook + monthly internet stipend

  • All travel fully covered

Location: The team is NYC-based, but we’re open to this being a remote position.

If this doesn’t seem right for you, but you know a good candidate, please forward this along!
