Job Summary
SAI is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage, screen recordings, product demonstrations, and marketing content into professional and engaging videos.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual presentation. The role will involve working closely with internal teams to create videos for product demonstrations, presentations, social media, training, marketing, and company communications.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished and professional final videos.
Create product demo, software walkthrough, corporate, promotional, training, and social media videos.
Add transitions, text overlays, titles, subtitles, graphics, animations, and background music where required.
Synchronize voiceovers with screen recordings and video content.
Improve video pacing and ensure smooth visual flow.
Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement, noise reduction, and video stabilization.
Create short-form content, reels, promotional clips, and highlight videos.
Work with screen recordings and ensure cursor movements and voiceovers are properly synchronized.
Add branding elements such as logos, fonts, intro/outro screens, and company graphics.
Review videos carefully for visual, audio, spelling, timing, and formatting errors before final delivery.
Compress and export videos in appropriate formats while maintaining good visual quality.
Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, graphics, audio files, and final exports.
Make revisions based on feedback from management and project teams.
Manage multiple video projects and meet agreed deadlines.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
Good understanding of video composition, transitions, storytelling, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
Experience with text animation, motion graphics, subtitles, and overlays.
Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software is preferred.
Good understanding of audio editing and voiceover synchronization.
Ability to work with different video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and codecs.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Ability to understand requirements and convert them into visually clear videos.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Video Editor or similar creative role.
Portfolio or sample videos demonstrating editing skills.
Experience creating technology, software, CCTV, AI, retail, or product demonstration videos would be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva is preferred.
Experience creating professional voiceover-based presentation videos is an advantage.
