WANTED: A Video Editor Who's Sick of Making Other People Famous

That's the problem. That's why you're reading this.

We're Hiring ONE Editor. Not Three. One.

You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder (virtually) with our Marketing Strategist and do one job: keep the content machine fed.

Specifically, you will:

  • Take raw footage (podcasts, Yaps, interviews, talking heads) and turn it into short-form content that stops thumbs dead on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Design and post carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn, and format blog posts when needed
  • Own the publishing calendar with the Marketing Strategist so nothing ever sits unposted
  • Bring opinions to the table: what's working, what's dying, what deserves double the budget
  • Keep everything unmistakably WWWS. Tone, pacing, captions, hooks. Without a style guide taped to your monitor
  • Use AI tools like your paycheck depends on it. Editing, captioning, repurposing, drafting copy. More output, zero drop in quality
  • Watch the numbers like a hawk. Retention. Watch time. Shares. Follower growth. Then tell us what you see
  • Spot platform trends before they show up in everyone else's feed

Notice something? Not one of those bullets says "wait for instructions."

Requirements

Who Should NOT Apply. (Read This Twice.)

I'm going to save us both a week of awkward emails:

  • If you need a creative brief before you can open a timeline, do not apply.
  • If you export, upload, and vanish until the next invoice, do not apply.
  • If a publishing calendar feels like a "suggestion" to you, do not apply.
  • If you've only ever cut clips for someone else's already-warm audience and never actually grown a channel, do not apply.

No hard feelings. You're just not our people.

Who SHOULD Apply.

The editor we want watches five seconds of raw footage and already knows the hook.

They're borderline obsessed with the difference between content that gets scrolled past and content that gets watched to the very last frame.

They treat our channels like their own personal brand, because they know how you show up here follows you everywhere.

And when we say "we recorded three hours of podcast this week," they hear "that's a full week of content" and get to work. Nobody holds their hand. Nobody has to.

If your pulse just picked up, good. Keep going.

The Non-Negotiables.

  • Fluent written AND spoken English. This is a wall, not a hurdle.
  • 2+ years editing short-form for social (Reels, TikTok, Shorts). Portfolio or reel required. No portfolio, no conversation.
  • Fast in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar. Fast. Not "capable."
  • Comfortable designing carousels and formatting content beyond video
  • Genuinely AI-driven. You actively use AI to speed up editing, captioning, repurposing, and writing. "I know it exists" doesn't count.
  • Killer instinct for hooks, pacing, captions, and what stops the scroll
  • Experience actually posting and scheduling across platforms, not editing in a vacuum
  • You hit a publishing cadence without reminders
  • Tight deadlines don't rattle you
  • Based in Latin America (Colombia or Argentina strongly preferred) with fast, reliable internet and a real home setup
  • Available during core Central Time hours

Nice to have: financial, coaching, or personal-brand content experience; basic motion graphics or text animation; a real point of view on what "on-brand" actually means.
