Video Annotation Reviewer

About the Opportunity

Workstream is looking for detail-oriented contributors in the Philippines to support a new paid video annotation review project for immediate hire. This role involves reviewing AI-generated descriptions of short video segments and correcting them where needed to ensure the final data is accurate, clear, and aligned with what is shown in the video.

This is a remote, computer-based opportunity for contributors who are reliable, consistent, and able to follow detailed instructions closely.

Role Overview

As a Video Annotation Reviewer, you will review video clips alongside AI-generated English text descriptions. Your task is to confirm whether each description accurately matches what is happening in the video. When the description is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or grammatically inaccurate, you will edit it so that it correctly reflects the visual content.

For example, if an AI-generated description says, “The left hand holds the pan and places it on the stove,” you will check the video to confirm whether that description is accurate. If the action, object, hand, or sequence is incorrect, you will revise the text accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Review video segments and compare them against AI-generated English descriptions.

• Identify mistakes, missing details, unclear wording, or mismatches between the video and the text.

• Edit descriptions so they accurately reflect what is happening in the video.

• Follow annotation guidelines and quality standards closely.

• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all assigned work.

• Complete work within the required timeline and communicate availability clearly.

• Participate in training before starting the project.

Requirements

• Strong English reading and writing comprehension.

• High attention to detail and ability to spot small errors.

• Ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently.

• Reliable access to a computer and stable internet connection.

• Availability to work 8 to 9 hours per day during the initial project period.

• Ability to start immediately and attend a training session before beginning work.

• Prior annotation, QA, data review, transcription, content review, or editing experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $3.50 USD/hour flat rate, paid bi-weekly
