Job Description

Role Overview

SymphonyAI Retail is seeking a Vice President of CINDE Merchandising to serve as a senior hunter sales leader driving large scale, net new revenue growth. This role owns the expansion of SymphonyAI’s CINDE platform across global retail organizations, with a focus on AI led Merchandising Intelligence, Assortment Optimization, and advanced Generative AI capabilities.

This is a hands on, quota carrying role for a proven enterprise sales leader who thrives in complex, consultative environments and consistently delivers transformational platform deals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership and Growth

  • Own and deliver $25M or more in net new bookings across Merchandising Intelligence, Assortment, and CINDE AI solutions
  • Build and maintain a minimum 3x pipeline coverage aligned to SymphonyAI Retail FY26 growth objectives
  • Drive sustained new logo acquisition and platform expansion within large, global retail enterprises

CINDE Platform and AI Leadership

  • Serve as a senior evangelist for CINDE 3.0, Generative AI, Agentic automation, and Promo Optimization capabilities
  • Articulate SymphonyAI’s Connected Retail vision and AI differentiation through executive level value narratives
  • Translate advanced AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes for retail leaders

Consultative Value Selling

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to C suite and senior retail executives
  • Quantify and communicate ROI across merchandising, availability, promotion effectiveness, space optimization, and retail monetization
  • Lead with platform based, multi product solutions rather than point offerings

Hands On Hunter Execution

  • Personally prospect, open doors, and close complex enterprise opportunities
  • Lead deal strategy including pricing, packaging, competitive positioning, and executive negotiations
  • Navigate multi stakeholder, global buying environments with confidence and discipline

Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of enterprise sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding large revenue targets
  • Proven success as a hunter in selling complex software, AI, or analytics platforms into retail organizations
  • Deep understanding of retail merchandising, assortment planning, promotions, and category management
  • Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively at the executive level and close high value, multi year platform deals
  • Comfort operating in fast paced, high accountability growth environments
