The primary role of IT Project/Program Management function is to manage end-to-end cross-functional delivery of IT program / projects. Management of projects in accordance with the ResMed Quality Management System (QMS). Working with internal and external groups, suppliers and other organizations as part of the delivery of the software system, including focus on integration and test activities.

  • The primary objective of IT Project Management specialization within the IT Project/Program Management Job Family is to facilitate project and program level processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk and help drive continuous improvement across the projects and programs.
  • Key responsibilities include: defining project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; overcoming resource constraints; managing risk and issues; identification of intra-project timing and dependencies, leadership, coaching and mentoring teams to meet and exceed commitments; organizing and facilitating project status or agile ceremonies; preparing progress reports and communications for stakeholders.
  • Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
  • Interactions frequently involve highly visible activities such as speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other executives and/or academics, lobbying regulators or policy makers and representing the organization on matters of great significance to the organization.
  • Directs and controls the activities of a significant, complex & sizable business/function through multiple levels of management within the company.
  • Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and approving changes to methods and practices.
  • Leads a team of Directors and/or high-level individual contributors.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  • Develops strategic plans and participates in development of corporate methods and priorities.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the company, competitive environment, technology and economic or social implications of organization activities.
  • Approves budgets and schedules to meet corporate requirements.
